Turning unique garments into even more unique creations

This is Sellpy Upcycled, a platform for artists, designers, and illustrators where pre-owned garments are the canvas for creativity. The initiative aims to extend the lifespan of second hand pieces and increase their chances of being loved again. Each item is unique, and the collections are limited – don’t miss out.

Julia Dang

Julia is a multi-creative person whose work is influenced by her surroundings. With a process characterised by not overthinking, her creations take on an organic and dynamic form. In her upcycled collection she works with asymmetry, utilising deconstruction and reattachment techniques that manipulate fabrics to create a flow.

Yoyo Nasty

For the artist and illustrator Yoyo, nature serves as her primary source of inspiration. In her upcycled collection, she sourced garments that are common in her own wardrobe. The central theme of the pieces revolves around the tiger, portraying an eccentric and confident personality.

Johanna Burai

Johanna Burai, a graphic designer, illustrator, and art director, has created a collection featuring three distinct artworks added onto pre-loved items. She describes the concept behind these pieces as a celebration of crying and letting go. This collection symbolises courage and resilience.
